Rising above all mountains, how did those on the arc breathe or not freeze?
Mountain climbers need to take canisters of oxygen with them to climb Mt.Everest and protective clothing to with stand the altitude. The higher up one goes the colder it gets and the less oxygen there is. Also wouldnt the currents of taken them far away from where they were when they started to float? The bible doesnt mention Noah taking along an anchor.
In response to the answers given so far please read the following. Genesis9:18 and the ark floated on the face of the waters. 19- that all the the high mountains were covered under the whole heaven covering them fifteen cubits deep. Genesis 7:11 and the windows of the heavens were opened and rain fell upon the earth. Genesis 8:4 the ark came to rest upon the mountains of Ararat. Meaning 1 there were mountains. 2 the rain came from above. 3. the ark floated on the waters. 4. the ark came to rest ON the mountain. ALL mountains would mean Everest. There has always been snow our glaciers prove that. I am not contradicting or attacking religion I also am not an idiot. I am asking a genuine ? that I find interesting.
It amazes me how so many people get so bent out of shape when one ?s something about the bible. If one does not question how is one to understand.

You need to apply some logic here:
Firstly there is no evidence for a global flood event, though many civilisations do have them as part of their folklore. The biblical event is probably a referrence to the flooding of the lowlands to form what is now known as the Black sea.

The flood was a figment of somebodys imaginattion as the flood supposiadly covered the entire earth. If that was so then where did the people on the other side of the flood come from? The flood only covered a small part of the earth and the story was embilished for greater impact.

the mountains had not formed yet. at the time of noah, all continents were together as one, what we call "pangea"
mountains did not rise until the flood, when the earth ripped apart (presumably at the great rift in the atlantic ocean) causing water to come literally from underground, causing the flood. water also rained down from the sky, which was the protective canopy that was originally covering the entire earth falling. because of this canopy, the atmosphere was much different than it is today.

Have you ever gone hiking or mountain climbing?
You don't need oxygen masks to climb most mountains!
Noah wasn't climbing the Everest - he wasn't near that area. It generally takes some time to get acclimated to high altitude, but people do that by walking slowly when they feel out of breath, and sleeping at a lower elevation than the highest altitude they reached that day.

I belive the atmosphere was different then. I do not think that there was snow. But after the world wide flood. The land was changed and so was the atmosphere. The arc got lodged on a mountian as the flood waters went down. So yes they were far away from were they began

GOD...."for with GOD all things are possible".Everything He does is a miracle. He made the air and the mountains, and Noah..therefore it`s reasonable to assume that he was able to keep them alive. In reply to answer one, although i need no evidence to believe, there is numerous evidence that the flood occurred. How do people find sharks teeth in their back yard unless it was once under water. You can`t read the bible with your NATURAL mind..it is a miracle book, and it is alive! It has to be spiritually read for you to understand it.

everything was different then, but obviously Noah had what he needed because he survived...the flood did happen and there is geological evidence around the world, in outlines of mounatain formation, rifts, rapid sediment and fossil formations, high pressure erosion, and the grand canyon is perfectly explained by the flood, if you listen to the right evidence and anlaysis.

First of all, it is good of you and all to contemplate God's words. The Father of all things would not have created the miracle of the flood and the Ark only to let Noah and his family freeze at the end of it all!Faith in God my friends will take you through insurmountable obstacles as long as your SPIRIT has faith! Our Father is The Father of miracles!!!!!!!!!!!!!
