It depends on the marriage but from what I have learned through studies is that more sucessful woman through education and their career due tend to have higher divorce rates. You know the old saying ignorance is bliss.

no you dont forefit your marriage for a successful career you just have to make adjustments and have an open line of communication with your spouse on your life goals and commitments. Men have been working long before women and they have had some of the most successful relationships of all time now why cant women do the same .....its an ego thing because we raise our boys to support a family and our girls to take care of them...its time men start doing this too not only women and then your relationship is successful...with having a successful career.

Not at all. That would be the same as asking if an American man would have to forefit a marriage with kids fr a career. I have 3 kids, a fiance, and a job....And our relationship is wonderfull! And for the working class in America nowdays, women almost have to have a job along with her husband to acually get by. Sometimes it is hard, I'm not denying that. But it's just something you get used to.

To some extent, yes- but not always. Many women are starting families much later these days, when they are already established enough in their carreers that they can afford to take the time off. I think that in general, women that work full time careers don't have as much time or energy to put towards their spouse and children (I am NOT saying this is always the case- I know there are a lot of superwomen out there that can do it all!!!). I think that at the present time, many women are just starting to find ways to balance carreer and home life so that they can have the best of both worlds.

Yes, to some degree. Time is the reason. There just isn't enough of it to go around.
