Yes, I am disturbed. Why must we be the world problem solver, Clean up crew, Peacekeeper. We send aid to countries that do not appreciate it, in fact abuse it thru corruption. We willingly produce a huge trade deficit sending commerce to governments that are not democratic,that are guilty of massive human rights abuses that produce products so cheaply they are destroying our own manufacturing industries. I think that if we used our resources at home to become independant, we could "take our ball and go home". The world would then deal with us on our terms, not theirs. Let them reform their governments, solve their own border issues, come to our shores with their hat in their hand, and we'll resume feeding the world. We have too much to offer the world and we value it too little.
