You can purchase clipper oil at your local beauty supply store. Hey, Wahl clippers are excellent. My first set lasted me 5 years, and I'm a hairdresser.

But definately use clipper oil, it shouldn't be to hard to locate.

I'm a hairstylist and I use clipper oil that you can buy at a beauty supply store- try Sally's Beauty Supply they sell to the public not just stylists. One of my co-workers use a 3-in-1 small motor oil for hers. The reason to use an oil is to keep the blades lubricated so they run smoothly. Without the oil the blades will create friction and they get noisey. I imagine it hurts the motor and oh yeah it will pull the hair.
