Sometimes TOP isn't what you want. They can be quite expensive. I would look for an independent that has a good record. It's easy to check them out. I don't know your situation, but I live in San Diego and know of many trucking companies because my luv fixes all their trucks. If you do decide to check one out, make sure you can see what their fleet of trucks look like. Then check out their record with the D.O.T.. If their trucks look crappy? I would hesitate. If money is not an issue, then go with a bigger, reliable, well known company.
It all depends on exact;ly what you're doing? If you are moving? Could you tow it on a little trailer behind your vehicle? Hauling a classic show car? etc. etc... A little more info as to that, and I can help a bit more. :)

Horseless Carriage Carriers or Reliable Transportation are generally thought of as being the best, no question. You will be pay for their service though, because they are highly specialized carriers. You can likely get free price quotes from both.
