I only use it for homework if I need help with getting a different perspective or opinion, not usually for something that is pure fact. First of all, not all answers are to be trusted and second, its kinda lazy- I can't really talk though, because i've asked questions about my homework twice.

The best source I have discovered so far is wikipedia. Some people don't trust the answers you get from there, but I think if you use common sense you can sniff out the false info.
