What is "Promptcast.exe" ???

It keeps popping up as a Norton security advisor box, and I have no clue what it is. If it is not harmful to my computer, can someone tell me how to stop the warning?

The process PromptCast.exe belongs to the software PromptCast (www.surveys.com/promptcast.aspx ) by NOPWORLD (www.nopworld.com).

Description: File PromptCast.exe is located in a subfolder of "C:\Program Files". The file size on Windows XP is 221184 bytes.

Program can be removed using the control panel Add\Remove programs applet. The application starts upon Windows startup (see Registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run). The file is not a Windows core file. The program is not visible. The application listens for or sends data on open ports to LAN or Internet. So it can be dangerous

Important: Some malware camouflage themselves as PromptCast.exe, particularly if they are located in c:\windows or c:\windows\system32 folder. Thus check the PromptCast.exe process on your pc whether it is pest. recommend Security Task Manager for verifying your computer's security.

Anything with an exe in the name is an executable file. It is very likely a virus.
