Who thinks the Cincinnati Reds can make the playoffs by 2008 now that they're under new ownership?
I live in the Cincinnati area and I'm a HUGE Reds fan. I was just wondering what other people thought now that they're under new ownership and have a new GM in place if they can make the playoffs in the near future. This reminds of when Marvin Lewis took over the Bengals 3 years ago and look what happened to them. Any thoughts?

sure, i think of the Reds will pake the postseason. i think of they're going to win the Wild Card. i think of Albert Pujols is only too sturdy to permit the Cardinals fall out of the branch lead. with any luck for the Reds, Guardado and Majewski will come back to help shore up their bullpen. i do no longer think of they're going to bypass too far interior the playoffs, however. The commencing rotation is the substantial interior the playoffs. If the starters do sturdy, the Reds will do sturdy. yet they're going to extra desirable than probably face the Mets in the event that they do make the playoffs (the Wild Card performs the gang with the superb checklist interior the in many situations taking place season). which skill Reds starters will ought to close down Jose Reyes, David Wright, Carlos Beltran and Carlos Delgado, which isn't an trouble-free feat.

I'm with ya Jeff. I hope we can get back to being a contender. Keeping Dunn was a good start. Now to get some pitching!

Nope. Last. They can bash, but they struggle when it comes to pitching, fielding, and putting the ball in play. That adds up to a topsy-turvy season.
