'01 Sebring, how to remove the glued-on lettering?
The letters spelling 'Chrysler' on the doors have lost the chrome plating. I'd like to remove the lettering from the paint - which is black. They're glued on, so need to know what solvent, if any, I can use to remove the letters.

Usually a hairdryer (to heat the emblems and soften the adhesive) and some dental floss will remove the emblems. Then use a mild solvent like citra-solv (will not damage paint) or goof-off (ditto) to remove the residue.
Please don't pour boiling water on your car, and don't use a heat gun, use a hair dryer.

Boil Some water and then pour it on and see what happens. Keep pouring it on until it comes off. I am 75% sure that this will work. Give it a try.
