after you're married, when is a good time to start having kids?

Of course there's no set answer. It depends on how badly you want kids, how old you are, how mature you are, etc.
My personal opinion is that you should wait at least 2 years before having kids. Your marriage should be strong and well established before you bring kids into the mix.

Everybody I think is pretty much right. It all depends on your situation and if you and your husband think your ready. My husband and I got married and we wanted kids right away! I got pregnant 2 monthes after the wedding. And he wants another one already (My daughter is 8 monthes old). But definatly take the advice that kids do not make a hurting relationship better only worse. But I'm sure that you guys are doing great since you just got married (and good luck and God bless for the future!).

I think it all depends on your preperations. If you are confident enough to have a kid. Of course you could at any point of time after marriage.

There is never a right time. If you have them early you struggle but have the energy to raise them. If you wait to long you have trouble getting pregnant and are worn out if you do get pregnant and have them.
