In a world where film exists and has so many wonderful qualities, what's so great about digital photography?

    Oh man! No developing or film costs. It frees you to take hundreds of pictures thatyou wouldn't take before. Yoiu can afford to experiment with light and composition. And you can see immediately if the picture you want is the one you got. If not, you can retake it on the spot!

    Once in your memory card, you can download to your computer and crop, enhance, modify and play with them to your hearts content!

    The qualities of the images are nearly equal to film in most cases.

    It is also easier and takes less room to store and catalog digital images than it does to store and catalog actual prints.

    digital pictures available instantly without processing costs and can be edited and modified quickly.

    Digital photography can be manipulated to duplicate any effect available in film photography .

    Film contains silver and film processing uses harsh chemicals

    so in addition to being less expensive digital photography might even be more ecologically sound

    Instant prints, share with people all over the world, crop, edit, add effects, see if the picture came out good as soon as you take it, etc.

    the cost is phenomanally less and it lets delete all the bad pictures and print out the good ones, and it reduces red eye in the pictures

    Its cheaper, easier to send online, you can see the picture as soon as you take it, and its trendy..
