yes, it is. I got mine at WalMart for about $12.oo after taking a ball class at the YMCA. Inside the box the ball comes in you should find a chart that gives you all sorts of exercises for use with the ball. The exercises target all different areas of the body, and there are quite a few for the abs. Good luck!
