my daughter has night terrors. how should i help her?

    my niece had those and they took her to the doctor, the doc said do not wake her up but be there for her when she does wake up to comfort her. me regaurds to you, i know how awful it can be

    Tell her to stop watching scary movies. Nightmares usually come from something scary you have recently seen. then tell her to only think of good thinks like her hobbies or vacation when she is in bed, so she can go to bed with good thoughts. if this still doesnt help, then she needs to feel more safer. You should go to bed near her or tuck her in so she will feel safe. I hope this helped!

    Try sleeping with her for a few nights, maybe that'll make her feel more secure.

    Give her a couple shots of vodka before she goes to bed...

    Don't worry, everyone get them,if she is scared you can get her to sleep with you and comfort her.
