Has anyone ever seen, felt or realized the presence of God on Earth?
In our busy lifestyles, we have some instances, when we feel the divine presence. Has anyone felt that before? Has anyone felt nearer to God or might be felt His presence. Did you have any divine visions?
I suppose i will accept the answers like those of cute_blondie_angel(God Bless You). I meant to ask that only. It's not that, i don't find creations of God fascinating and great. But it is something different to meet the Creator itself. I just want to know if there is someone who felt His presence.
Bless you all. And thank you for taking time to answer my question.

I have definetly felt the pressence of GOD. Right before Christmas in 2004, our first ond onlt child, a son, passed away. This was a very hard time for my husband and I, and we stopped going to church. We didn't celebrate Christams that year, and my husband started to smoke cigarettes again. I quit my job to stay home, because being around people was so ahrd. I tried to convince myself that everything was okay.
About a month after he passed away, i was going through some of his old belongings and looking at his phot album. I broke down, and it felt good. I dont know what it was for sure, but i felt like someone was hugging me; i felt warm, happy, and that everything was going to be okay. I like to think that our son is our gaurdian angel.
God has recently blessed us with a new baby boy. I think our first son saw how sad we are, and told GOD to give us another baby....

Listen, God definitely exists even if some people have never felt His presence in nature, situations or people.God will usually make His presence felt to those who sincerely seek Him and want to know his mind- what pleases and displeases him.If you seek, you shall find.No matter how many people say He is nonexistent, believe me, He exists.Has everyone on earth seen quintuplets or Brunei Darussalem-no...but that doesn't mean quintuplets and Brunei Darrusalem don't exist. Yes, it takes faith to feel God exists, but a fact won't cease to be, whether or not people have faith in it...there are a million questions in life that cannot be explained away by mere logic or science. If you truly want to know - open your mind to the Bible and ask God to help you have enlightenment. Get to know Jesus Christ through the bible and you will find answers.Have you ever had the urge to help someone in need or to ease somebody's suffering or to simply make others feel valued and cared for?-Such comes from the holy spirit, which is of God.Read the bible. Start with the book of John and you just may have a wonderful journey ahead of you...not only that but you'll discover man's real purpose on earth- why we exist or were created, and believe me - it's not so that we could be rich and famous. God bless you, friend.

No one has seen God at any time. When David fell Goliath, I'm sure he felt God inside of him, or probably I should say that he felt his own faith in God when he shot the stone. It is our own faith in God that we feel most of the time. Divine presence? I've felt the Holy Spirit, and I've seen vapors. I've seen a burning bush along the waters edge. We should all have the same mind in Christ. So lets not be naive. Different denominations have a different perspective on Jesus. The church is divided, how will it stand is a better question to ask I would think. But the answer to your question is yes. God bless you.

I have felt His presence many times. I almost always can feel His presence when I am worhiping in church or at a prayer meeting. Sometimes it is stronger than others. Sometimes it is like a sense of peace and sometimes I feel joy but it is really not something I can describe. Once when I was in a tent meeting I could see a kind of mist in the place which was Gods presence.

Seventeen years ago, I was with an outreach team in Mexico City. Our team had two missions: the first was to repair several churches that were damaged in the earthquake; the second was to take the Gospel to the street. On the morning of our first day on the streets, we had gathered in the attic of our hotel, just as we had every other day, for a time of prayer and worship. As we were worshiping, God's physical presence filled the room. It was overwhelming, awe-inspiring,and a thousand other catch phrases. But when I try to describe the actual event, the best explanation I can give is that His presence was like a warm fog that surrounded us and even penetrated us and drew us into one accord with Him. Our little band of 36 led over 2000 people to the Lord in 4 days, including over 300 in one hour on the steps of the National Cathedral. I KNOW it was God.

Uh_Yeah is correct (again, I might add). People say yes. They point to babies and sunsets and The Grand Canyon, but I just don't see it.
I don't know why these things need to have a creator behind them. I know that it helps you guys sleep better at night, but I really think that reason dictates that an old man in the sky can't be responsible for everything.
I have seen not a shred of evidence. I have not felt the presence of god. I'm sorry, but from where I'm standing I'm just not with you.

Years ago my son was in the hospital and I was praying and I felt the divine presence of God, it is something that you can not explain, it was the best experience that I had in my entire life, it was like cold and hot at the same time, then I was feeling so relax and days later my son was much much better, the expectaction from the doctors was wrong, God did something special with my son, he is not supposed to walk never in his entire life, " that was what the doctors said";but thank God he walks, run, jump and do everything by his self, he is my miracle in the name of Jesus, that happened 12 years ago and I remember like it was just minutes ago.I am so so greatful of God.

You already have lots of responses to your question, and I don't know why anyone would read all the way to the bottom of the list and see this, but I have a thing or two to add. God is not a bird, He is not the trees, and He is not the little babies. These things are great and all, but the warm fuzzies aren't it. You want to know what the presence of God is like? Then spend time with Him. Not the idea of Him, and not a reflection of Him in nature, but the person of God and who He is in reality. God is spirit; those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. The truth is His word; His word is truth. Read His love letter to you, and seek Him with all that you are. Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you.

I have had many experiences...Some believe that God is present within all things that exist (omnipresence)so in a manner of speaking we are all divine. I personally believe that this divine connection or presence can be experienced and expressed through our hearts when will allow unconditional love to be our focused intent.

I have felt it many times. Being alone and worried about what was going to happen next, then there is a warmth and love that tells me all is going to be okay. Looking at a Sunrise or a sunset and seeing the beauty. The first time i held my daughter after she was born. I know that sounds corny, but there i was holding this life that i helped create. Then knowing that god was the one to create her.
