what s your opinion for this year s oscars award...?

As usual, the academy picks movies that focus on social or controversial issues (like racism or homosexuality). I don´t say that´s wrong, but I would like to see movies that take more intelligent aproaches to be taken into account as well.

Well I was thinking that the Acadamy Awards was going to

sh--it, but I was surprised to see that Crash won best picture. Overall I think the acadamy is isolating themselves and they are picking more and more movies that the general public doesn't care to watch. This is going decrease ratings at the Oscars and hopefully switch it back.

what disgusting display of fat headed gobbly goop these ppl stroke their ego's more them a middle eastern or north Korean dictator. they work maybe 3 months a year and want an award. oh and another thing these idiots need to voice their political views on their own dime. these ppl really think they own the world and that they have the moral superiority over all. these blow hards need to make their movies and then shut up.

I applaud the Academy for taking on movies with tough themes even if they weren't box office hits. My only problem with the awards are that I don't agree with a few of their choices for winners.

I believe they were so cruel not giving the best movie award to Brokeback Mountain, it deserved it!

t think that it is a total waste of time there are plenty of other things for me to concentrate on not the oscars. and what gets me mad is the fact that they get all this free stuff i heard it was like 100,000 a bag for winners and 53,000 for loser worth of items in them!!!! Oh what a waste of time for me to answer this question. but hey two points!!! thanks oscars
