i don't know of a national clearing house for this type of information. but you can start at the library of congress and maybe find a complete listing.

also the best way to do it, is to go to the department of corrections for each state and put in for listings of womens and mixed population facilities.

what you propose is dangerous. some of these women will get out and look you up. maybe you should rethink this before you begin.

anyway you generally have to know the name of who you are looking for on these sites. join some church, social service or other outreach groups that minister or service prisons. i'm sure they have some inmates you might write to.

question - why females only? do you think you are giving them something they are missing or is this for future personal contact?
