How to calm fly-away hair?

I have slightly wavy hair. I have a lot of fly-away pieces that makes my hair look kinda fuzzy. I want to know if there is a product that controls the fly-aways, without gunking it up or making my hair look like an oil slick. My hair is medium brown.

I also have that problem. I have naturally curly, frizzy hair, and every day is a bad hair day, lol! I use Infusium leave-in conditioner directly after shampooing and towel-drying my hair, and the product comes in a variety of levels for every hair type, so choose which one works best for you. Also, after spraying in conditioner, I use Frizz-Ease Wind Down creme in the purple pump bottle. It has been absolutely amazing for my hair. It calms the frizzies without weighing it down and making it look greasy or limp, or feeling stiff like mousse or gel would. You can either let your hair dry naturally to keep your waves, or use a vent brush and dryer and straighten your hair. I hope this helps you!

you at the instant are not purely speaking approximately your hair sticking up once you whip off your hat, suitable? because of the fact if it is the only time you have flyaways, there is in all probability no concern including your hair's wellbeing—you're in simple terms triggering a plethora of beneficial electric costs. yet whilst it is sticking up lots of the time, you have have been given cuticle injury, meaning that the strands' outer layers are peeling up, exposing the interior fiber. An intact cuticle protects the fiber; whilst it is interrupted, the fiber is greater susceptible to static, says Paradi Mirmirani, MD, assistant professor of dermatology at Case Western Reserve college. the main suitable technique to tame flyaways is to apply a silicone-based or flow away-in conditioner once you shampoo. The conditioner coats the fiber, making it much less companies to static, says Mirmirani. A organic-bristle brush (no longer guy made) will additionally help save issues below administration.

Get a spray bottle, put 4 tablespoons of your everyday conditioner in it fill the rest of the spray bottle with water. When ever you get the fly away's or static lightly mist your hair and like magic it's gone.

I use a small spray bottle so I can carry with me at all times.

This solution can also be used as a detangler.

Dryer sheets will do the trick to tame static induced fly-aways!

I know this sounds goofy, but what I do is put a bit of hand lotion on my hands, rub in into my palms well, then smooth the bit of lotion on my palms over my hair. I don't push my hair down but just run my palms gently over my hair. I picked up this tip in some women's magazine and it works for me.

This sounds kinda nasty, but it worked for me... Coat your hair with mayonnaise and leave it on for about 4 hours. It is really hard to get it all out, and if you don't it leaves your hair really greasy, but when you do get it all out your hair will be really shiny and hydrated.

use a dryer sheet, i used to have hair past my shoulders. i have hella curly hair also. the dryersheets ability to reduce static and the waxy surfice, act as a static removing light conditioner, and it smells really good. its also portable and relatively inexpensive.
