A lot of first knee replacements are successful. Do research on the surgeon. Get a second opinion. Follow the surgeon's instructions EXACTLY. There are many types of
knee prosthetics that can be used. Ask the surgeon which
one he usually uses and research it on line. Good luck

I too have had total knee replacement once...what caused you to have to have it done 4 times? I had a friend with rheumatoid arthritis and hers would not heal so they had to take hers completely.Mine hurts sometime have had it for 6 years.
