We don't have to feel guilty for his death! Jesus came into the world, to save the sinners from going to hell. His whole purpose/will was to come in and die for our sins. Think of life this way, we aren't from the this earth un Christian's we are aliens to the land we know. Our true home is in heaven with God. Keep your mind on heavenly things, not of worldly things. Amen
God Bless,

Jesus didn't die to make us feel guilty. He died in order to free us from our sin. If he had saved his own life, we would still be under the old covenant whereby forgiveness of sins would only be possible through a sacrificial system. Jesus became our sacrifice when He (being perfect) died on the cross.

Hi ...
As Willowprincess and I'llTry put so well, Christ did not go through His suffering and death for the purpose of making us feel guilty.
He did so in order to save us. He made Himself the perfect sacrifice for humanity's sins.
Don't feel guilty. Just thank Him!

I don't.
I don't see his death as any better/worse than that of so many others who died via. cruelty.
I wasn't there.
I didn't kill him.
I didn't even participate in the killing.
I do admire the guy for his love of being fully human and using all his skills to set all the goodness in motion he could while living here on this earth...

1. God has taken the suffering to demonstrate the mankind about the evilness.
2. If God can't save himself, what the hell do we common people trust

we're not supposed to feel guilty, but realize that He died because He loved us ever so much. all He asks is that we love Him back.

we don't need to feel guilty, we need to feel grateful.
we can feel guilty over our sins that caused the need for Him to die, but once we repent, then we have no guilt over those sins.

We are not to feel guilty. We should be grateful to Him for what He did for us.
