For the Doorman I would give about $3.00 each time you ask them for something. About $2.00 a bag for the bellhop, $5.00 each day for the housekeeper (leave this each day in case you get a different housekeeper). For room service I give about 15%.

If you will be using a concierge there is a little more involved. If they get you a dinner reservation I would give at least $5.00 and up to $10 depending on the restaraunt and how hard it is to get. If they book tours or shows for me I will give anywhere from $20.00 to $25.00, depending on what they got.

For a valet I would give $2.00 each time. And if you use the poolside or beach attendant I would give about $5.00. Other than that it depends on what you are planning to do, i.e. are you planning to golf, take tours, etc.

    Hope this helps!

1 US $=1,507.50 Lebanese Pounds 450,000 LBP=$300 roughly this could buy you grocery for 1 week, or a fancy dinner for 4, or two nights at a 5 stars hotel...(at a low season's corporate rate) normal room rate for a standard room at Phoenicia Intercontinental Hotel (one of the best 5 stars hotel in Beirut) is around $200 so what would be your plan?
