Superstition question?

In 1993 an interesting study about Friday the 13th was published in the British Medical Journal. Its authors investigated if this mystical date is really dangerous. They compared the ratio of traffic volume to the number of vehicular accidents on two different days throughout several years. What was the conclusion of the study?

I'll bet the conclusion showed that more accidents happened on Friday the 13th. Wanna know why? Because people get too wrapped up in trying to avoid "bad luck" that they are too easily influenced/distracted by other things that normally wouldn't faze them.

    But I'm wrong, correct?

I'm pretty sure that Wheezer is right on this. It seems logical that people who are freaked out about "bad luck" would be so spun up about it they would fail to pay attention to what is right in front of them, and so have all sorts of avoidable accidents.

People would be more careful on the thirteenth

My guess is it wasn't anymore dangerous than any other day.
