Saints get Brees?

I heard the saints are now looking to trade down out of that spot to a team that would be after Leinart. If I were the saints I'd stay there and draft Ferguson at LT.....a newly signed franchise Qb like Brees could have no better friend then a stud LT.

Culpepper is the more overrated. Drew is a Pro-Bowl QB and has more ahead of him. I feel the worst for the Dolphins. They got a QB who is way, way, way, way, way past his prime. Drew would have fit much better in an up and coming team like the Dolphins. Culpepper turns-over the ball too much. 6 TDs and 12 INTs in 7 games in 2005. Career 164 TDs and 120 turnovers. It almost like every time he gets a TD you can expect him to get have a turnover. I do not think he is as good as his numbers. And how many playoff wins does he have. Drew does not have any but he has a lot more game left the Dante does.

The NFL draft will still happen as scheduled. What the Saints do with their draft pick was not written in stone. They may trade it away, or keep it, but they probably will not draft a QB with it.

this does nothing for the saints as a die hard san diego fan they are getting a qb who is prone to fumbles and ints for the draft that just makes it easy for teams shopping for a qb the draft pool is full of great talent usc matt lionhart also vince young brees will be a factor but you've seen what he has done he just could not get over thw hump in san diego

Crazy...well I'm not sure where the QB's in the draft will end now that New Orleans, Miami, and Detroit all landed quality QBs

It means the Jets will likely have a second option to pick one of the top 3 QBs! I don't know who other Jet fans want, but I'd take Young over Cutler and Leinart.

it just makes the draft that much more confusing! i think they pick up mario williams or that gaurd from VT, or they trade the pick!
