Condition. Certain things make people happy. Not every situation will effect every person the same way.

    Happiness is definitely a CHOICE.

Some people may have a chemical imbalance, which makes happiness a fleeting feeling, but with medication, therapy, behavior modification, happiness can be achieved.

The biggest road block to happiness is not looking for the silver lining in every not so great situation. If you can find the silver lining, not matter how warped it may be(and laugh about it), you'll find some peace in almost everything.

In a Lot of ways it is a condition - you can't change your genetics. But when talking to my therapist this morning I came to fully realize that things don't change unless you physically change them, or physically alter your thoughts. It's an actual act of choice, therefore a decision. A decision to rid yourself of negative thoughts.

It's the decision to be happy with whatever you have. But there's a condition to it: you need to have a minimum of things (I don't mean material things) to be happy. I don't think you can be happy if your child was murdered, for example. But that hasn't happened to me, so I'm only guessing, not talking from experience.

I agree that it is a choice. I have a lot of things in my life to be unhappy about, but I choose not to be and if I did I think it would be a long road down to depression! Think positive and u will feel positive... that's always been my philosophy!

A choice. You can choose to go around moping or you can choose to go around smiling. You will quickly find that if you go around smiling and laughing more, you will indeed be more happier.
