what happened to waiting till marriage?

what happened was s e x became extremely popular not sure why maybe cause home situations are so bad that girls think that having s e x will make every thing in their lives better

Sex is very important in a relationship. What if you do wait till marriage and when you finally get there, you find out it isn't what you expect it to be? But i guess if you love the person and you're one devout Catholic (or other religion) and believe in the sanctity of marriage, you will accept things as what they are and be content with it.

I'm waiting till marriage. But several things happened. Women got the birth control pill which 99% of the time keeps a women from getting pregant. Before that abortion was illegal and that women would be a single mother. Also rememeber that before the pill it was harder for women to find jobs. All that has changed and now men and women can have all the sex they want, and the women doesn't have to say "No" because she doesn't have to worry about parenting.

There are people who still believe in the sanctity of marriage, but that number is rapidly declining. Not only do people not respect marriage any longer, but it seems if they have lost respect and dignity for their own bodies as well. Don't worry though...there are still good ones out there.

Well, I waited til marrige, and passed the same to my daughter. But look at all the rapes,medicated or just plain rapes that happen. This world teaches our kids in school, the workplace and any place. That if the guy wants it the girl is expected to roll over and play sex happy. The world does this to the girls too. Hardly any one dates,instead it appears the two become the property of the other. Or one assumes the other belongs to them and will do whatever they think it takes to keep them in line. Like beatings and mental abuse and the like. One date seems to make sex and or marriage the next immediate step for them to take. That takes all the fun out of dating. Look at adds; from cars and pc's, to shoes and clothes or even food S-E-X sells it all. The Bible teaches those willing to crack it open that marriage is to be entered into with much prayer---thought. It is a Holy State to be in. But the Bible states we are in the end times. Israel is a nation again and this generation shall not pass away before the 2ed coming. Jesus said. "As is was in the days of Noah; so shall it be at the 2ed coming." And the people were evil and did evil continually(just like now.) And just like now the legal system was too good to be reached.Greed rules, no money, no help; ect. When two marry the Bible says they become one. And that is true. Each recieves the other not just in body but in spirit and in their souls. That's why when one dies or cheats or divorces the other; that there is so much pain and all. I speak from a marriage that was but is no longer. It was sin on his part (like David with Bathsheba)except David only lusted after one; mine didn't belive one was enough. I find you refreshing, I was begining to believe that men like that died with my Dad. It makes me wish I knew how to contact you; but, we would most likely not be near the same age or in the same city. But if I were to want someone to date it would be a guy like you. I wish you well in finding a nice female to share your life in marriage with. I hope you wish me as well off too. Oh and when you have son's please pass you on in them. Same for you women pass such things to your daughters as well.

I Agree With you :) Honestly its still out there but the popularity of sex beats the sanctity of marriage in this world...and havent we all heard that everything that is forbidden is WANTED..Its still out there trust me and its all about morals and religon. Everyone i know including me are some of those who are saving it...it alll depends on the person..

I don't know what happened. Teens Just started thinking that having S. E. X was cool because their friends were doing it. That's why there are 14 year old girls having babies which in a shame. Kids are so stupid these days.

I'm not sure that it is so much about waiting until marriage. Not that I'm saying that someone shouldn't.

It's the fact that someone jumps in bed with someone they literally JUST met.

well in case u havent notices were living in a different world today.sex is all over tv..kids think its cool and that its what ur supposed to do when u have a gf.it sounds stupid but its true.I wish i waited until marriage but for me i kinda felt like my bf would leave me if i didnt give in...its sounds stupid but when ur really young sometimes ur brain doesnt work too well.

Yeah, i totally agree. I don't know what's up with that anymore. I however choose to wait til marriage. So i guess not all girls are like that.

Hey all I wanna know is you wanna meet my daughter? I havent heard that ask for a very long time! And I fully agree. That is something to be treasured not flauted. Im serious about meeting my daughter tho lol.
