Anyone else agree?!?

I have been reading alot of questions on here about careers and how hard it is to find a job that your happy with and that pays well, or even a job at all. Who else is going through this right now? I know I am and I have had it!! I work my butt off and can never seem to get ahead, I dont like my job but its hard to find one!!!!!

Update:

Yes i do agree with the answers so far, but when you are treated like crap and work your butt off its hard. I have worked for over 10 years now but it always seems to get worse!! When you are never noticed for all of your hard work you feel like crap and wonder why you even work for people like this. As for more education I do agree with this but i know tons of people that have a great education and they cant find work or they settle for less, I want to make sure if i go back to school that its for something i will end up doing for good so Im not wasting more money!! Everyone should be treated with respect no matter what!

Update 2:

I wanted to comment on your answer apg200 i dont like suck ups i wanted people that can relate to the question, so dont patronize me you have your 2 points but will not get 10. Have a nice day

I work at a poultry plant, usually 5 or 6 days a week 10 hours a day. Its a typical factory with everyone cheating on their spouses. I hate it! Everyone talks bad about everyone. I've been here for 9 years now, thees no where else to work at around here, so yes, I know exactly how you feel!

I am not working but could work if I was to do such a thing. I think I can therefor I can, have I mentioned how special you are, I really like what you have done with your question, how do you do it? But back to the question, I know where you are coming from because I have been there and done that. I have personally been out of the workforce for almost 5 years really. It is scary going back out there and finding something that I want. It is why I am going to school now, so I can try and find something that I really like to do. Good luck to you! BTW, I do thing that you look really nice today and have a wonderful smile. Have I kissed up enough yet to get the 10 points? *hugs*

Most people will never find a job they are truly happy with, and those that find the "perfect job" often forget that they have it and thus end up losing it because they're work habits and attitude begin to slip. So don't feel bad about your job situation. If it helps you pay bills and puts food on the table then just make the best of it.

Source(s): Experience: I've done all sorts of jobs just to stay ahead. Now I'm in a good job, but it pays too little. Go figure.

I am in a job that I don't like with people that I hate. The reason I stay is that I get paid well and the benefits are nice. I am afraid that whereve I go I will still hate the job and the people, so I stay. I guess it is a trade off, you can have a job you like and people you like and the pay and benefits suck then again you can have my job which is the direct opposite.

The first thing you need to do is stop looking for just a job and find a career. You can do something or be someting. If you don't like your job, you need to decide what you would like to do. Then, do what it would take to obtain that job. In a lot of cases, that means furthering you education and/or skill level.

I'm going thru something similar. I'm looking for a business to purchase that I'm going to enjoy. I worked my butt off for 25 years and now have the cash to take a risk -- but as everyone else, I want to be happy with what I choose to do.

I suggest you read financial peace by dave ramsey (or any of his books) since you said you can't seem to get ahead. this lays out some simple steps for you that will help as long as you follow them. jobs are hard to find but keep searching.

Its WORK. If it was fun and games, no one would have to pay someone to do it. When you go to the gas station and pay for the gas, who gives a bat's ... if the clerk inside is overworked.

    I totally agree with you.
