DVR recording to VHS tape..?

Is it possible to record shows off the DVR onto VHS tapes if it's hooked up through a VCR/DVD player? If so, do I just play it and record as if I was recording off TV?

Also, remember that anything you do on the DVR screen will show up on the VCR recording. So if you hit 'Info' or 'Menu' to see a description of the show, that is going to be on the final VCR recording.

The one thing no one mentioned is to make sure you VCR is on the right input or channel number. (i.e. imput 1, or channel 3 or 4) depends on how the DVR is hooked to the VCR

Your DVR recording is digital while VHS is analogue. What you need is a VHS/ DVR machine. mines made by Philips.

i think you have it also, just make sure your connections on the back of the DVR are the "out" ones. also make sure you have the video cable hooked up to the right one because on the back of my sony DVR it's not right next to the L & R audio outs.
