Do prefer long, authoratative answers or short, specific and to the point answers to your Yahoo Questions?

I prefer short answers, but I appreciate long answers if a person has put a lot of thought into it (if they've copy-pasted from somewhere else I'd much rather they simply gave me the URL)

I prefer people to be honest ,if they can honestly type a 3 page essay to 1 answer yeah great good for them

I prefer an answer that makes me smile when I read it tho

The short, precise answers are better because of the columnar format Answers uses in display. Also, it tends to push the answers of others farther down the page, making other answers less likely to be looked at.

It depends on the kind of question,of course,some questions do need longer answers.But,most of the time,I prefer the specific,short and "to the point" answers.

Of cos, everyone prefers short and precise answers. Some answers are so short such as 'huh?' and 'are you sick'. I think YA team should not award 2 points to such unappreciated answers. They answered like that just to get the 2 pts, to me it is abusing the generiousity of YA.

it depends on the question. some questions just require a simple answer and then there are some that really have to be long and drawn out for the person who asks to understand

short and simple ones. And I was going to ask this same question because the 5 page essays were annoying to me.
