Give our people the food, shelter and medical care they need...honor our armed forces for their sacrafices...fly everywhere to see my family and friends...buy them some houses, etc....uh oh, started thinking I won the lottery or something. Seriously, I would make sure people had the basic needs in life and service people didn't have to struggle for their benefits. I'd work really hard at rebuilding our reputation with other countries. I'd push for certain rights afforded to married people be given to a person of one's choice and not to a person's gay or lesbian partner. Also, I would try to make people see that our freedom's do not make it okay to make others suffer...e.g. religion. Because we have freedom to religion in our country does not mean freedom to kill if that is what a religion teaches.

I'd have a really tough time like any President. Because the Chief Executive really doesn't have all the power and authority and deserve all the blame for failed measures like the American People think he does. Congress as a whole doesn't make good Saturday night live fodder.

What I would do is be a kamakazie one term President without letting anyone know what my intentions were. I would go in and act strongly for what I believe public opinion be dammed and then I would probably be voted out in the next election. You can never make everyone happy and if you did you are probably doing something wrong.

First, I would look to re-unify this country. Second, I would ensure that each cabinet post is filled with the most competent person that could help lead and reverse many of the losses that this country has sustained during the past several years--(Environmental, debt, FDA, Agriculture--with monitoring for Mad Cow, AIDS research etc). Third, I would provide true leadership on the world stage. . .not bully my way through, but to use this unique office to move the world forward.

Kick the person that wrote this out of the country

"I'd sit down with Al Kada and ask him why he's mad at us. I'd make the mimimum wage $20 per hour. I'd raise the taxes on the rich. And I'd make aids illegal so gay people could have the same rights as normal people. I'd pass a law against war."

My God, I hope you don't exercise your right to vote.

since a person who becomes the president is usually dumb

or is it necessary that he has to be dumb?
