    If you are using Windows you can do the following

    1) go to start menu - click run - type "dxdiag" and press enter. it is the DirectX diagnostic software and will give you much needed information on the very first screen.

    2) Right click on your desktop - click properties - choose the settings tab - click advanced button - choose the adapter tab in the just opened window. it displays the summary of the video card in your system.

    hope this solves your problem

    go to start menu->run->type "dxdiag"

    go to the display tab and under the display tab there will be a box with named "device".

    inside this box you can see "Approx. total memory" just beside it you will see the memory of your graphic card

    sounds like an onboard graphics controller. when you first boot up there should be a breif screen that will tell you. dxdiag will tell you everything you need to know about your video and audio.
