how do i get zoysia to start again where they have dug up my lawn. I dont want to plug again?
I have a large blank spot about 20 by 20 feet and i want to start it in the back yard too. Do I need to dig up the yard where i want it to work in the back?

You called sir... I dont know what a Zoysia is? But the answer has to be yes... A clean slate to work from is good. Heidi

Zoysia is supposed to have fool proof plugs. You should be able to take a plug from along a sidewalk, or an inconspicious spot and just plug it into where you need the re-growth. Spacing out the plugs they should keep growing and fill in the gaps.
