Can I donate Yahoo! Answer points?

I know I can donate my airline miles to charities. Can I donate my answer points to charities too?

In particular, I'd like to donate my points to the people addicted to Yahoo! Answsers. Maybe if they just got free points donated from people like myself and others, they wouldn't spend so much time with Yahoo Answers. The really desparate ones seem to be dredging up old questions with only one answer so that they can score an easy 2 - 13 points.

I'm a recovering Yahoo Answers addict myself and try to keep my point gathering below 300 points a week now.

If I could just donate some of my points to those folks, maybe they wouldn't get work so hard to get their 10-20,000 points in a week. Maybe it would help them with their affliction.

Or is this just foolish thinking on my part.

Update:

Yes. I like to answer questions here (over 7000 points and quite a few "best answers").

Yes, my wife thinks, no, knows that I've been addicted to Y! Answers.

Yes, my patron saint is Cliff Claven from Cheers ... "It's a little know fact that ...".

Lastly, please note the posting date of this question. Maybe you'll feel a little foolish too.

Well, you can't really donate points. But you can hook me up with 10 points, by choosing this as the best answer. HAHA

You sound like a sad person! Some of us actually like giving answers to other people. I try to help others with my knowledge and I wish there was a way to answer more questions after I have reached my limit and just not receive any points. It is not possible to give points. I wanted to delete my main profile and Yahoo would not let me do that and transfer it to one I had under it.

you are a good person to think that but you cant donate your points, sorry. (if you can gimme some!)

one thing you can do is post too many questions and go on choosing best answers, this way your points will be reduced and ours will increase!

You sound like a good nature person and perhaps do not want others to follow the path of your previous addiction. On the other hand, I believe that some people are in for the points while others do like to share. Especially when it is on topics that they know well! Thanks for your suggestion and your good intention!
