which is have a fastest engine motorcycle 2 stroke or 4 stroke engine?

    i race dirtbikes so here's an example

    250cc 2 stroke produces about 50 hp

    450cc 4 stroke produces the same, 50hp

    4 stroke has smooth "roll on" power while a 2 stroke's power comes on very abruptly at a certain rpm range(just about ripping your arms out of their sockets!)

    so to answer your question a 2 stroke motor produces close to double the power of a 4 stroke at the same displacement

    a 2-s troke of course! why do you think they have to run a 4-stroke that is twice the size to compete against a 2 -stroek. 1125cc 2-stroke vs 250cc 4- stroke, and 250cc 2 stroke vs 450cc 4 strokes

    If you talkin bout rpm...revolutions per minute...the answer is 2 stroke
