in motorcycle categories what meant by " cc " 50cc or 200cc ?

    Yes cc stands for cubic centimeters, and is a measure of the cylinders displacement. You can calculate the displacement if you measure the bore of the cylinder and the stroke (how far the piston move up and down).

    displacement = [pi x ( 1/2 bore)squared x stroke] times the number of cylinders. The bore and stroke measurement need to be in centimeters. If you measured it in inches your answer would be in cubic inches, like we used to measure American car engine and Harley's.

    it refers to cubic centimeters, the measure of displacement of the size of the cylinders.

    1000 cc is one liter, or about two pints.
