what should i do?
i'm having my first baby and my boyfriend and i are looking for baby names but since we don't know the sex of our baby, we have 2 look for 2 names one for a girl and one for a boy..the problem is that everytime i pick out a name he always has a problem with it because he says that it reminds him of guys that he had problems with in the past...i told him that if he doesn't like my choice then he should decide so he came up with a name and i didn't like it at all because it sounded funny....one of the names that i chose for a boy was daniel and he didn't like it because the name reminds him of some guy named david...ok ok i understand that they don't get along but to me the names don't sound nothing alike...what should i do?????????

Go with your boyfreind a few times to a playground. Watch the children and then listen to the names the mothers call.
Could be you see a beautiful daniel and suddenly the name will remind your boyfriend of the pretty kid at the playground and not of the ugly davied.
You will also discover new names this way.
Its also a nice place to be for expecting couples.
Try it, it can not harm.

Buy a Book of names and sit down together, try to pick the ones you both like, if that doesn't work, name the baby after you if it's a girl and after him if it's a boy that way you don't have a problem.

You should find out sex of baby and then pick names if you still cant choose ask both of your parents pick name

Whats your middle name or his middle name? Think about that. I had the same problem with my husband. I ended up reading names out of the phone book and waited until he liked one and If I didn't like it, I kept reading until I read one I liked and he liked. Its a big book.

Well the to of you need to compromise some how keep looking for a name until you both find one that you can agree on

Maybe you could say that if you named your baby daniel it would turn that name into meaning your beautiful child instead of drudging up a painful memory.

u both should be happy 2b having a baby and hope its healthy and normal,then u both hold that child and the 1st name GOD gives u thats it out of love u both have 4the baby im sure u will pick a beautiful name 4 him /her
