    I have been a member of the freecycle site for years. I have given away nearly a house full of furniture, and I have collected items for charity organizations worth in the hundreds of dollars.

    The correct name is freecycle.org

    Yes, freecycle is good, but they are pretty email heavy, so be prepared to delete lots and lots of emails.
