Any suggestions for a gift?

My husband is turning 52 next weekend. Anyone have some great suggestions. He doesn't wear any jewellery, and dresses quite casual. Keep the suggestions away from anything to do with s*x!

Update:

He is not into sports. We are presently living in Germany, so its hard to find something here that he would like.

Update 2:

and no he doesn't smoke or drink!

Update 3:

Update 4:

Yes I know 'gift' is poison in German. But I am Canadian and we call it a present 'Geschank'

A couple of the old standbys for the person who has everything....

What about a weekend out of town for the 2 of you? It could just be something local, just so you're out of the house doing something that you're sure he would enjoy. (Maybe a 'cupon' for a weekend of camping once it gets warmer or a trip to see a sporting event or a weekend in a neighboring city taking in museums, whatever he's into.)

If he handles surprises well pack him an overnight bag and wrap it like a gift (you don't even need to buy him a new one, just wrap one that he already has). Once he has opened it and looks baffeled, ask him if he's ready to go.

Get his car detailed inside and out.

If there's a project around the house that you know he doesn't want to do or doesn't have the time to do, hire a handy man to get it out of the way. Don't call it a 'gift' but the gesture will be greatly appreciated... just don't make it look like you were tired of asking for it to be done.

well, if u have any old pictures, then why not make an album made up of 52 years, with each picture from a different age of his life?

Aber nicht ein Gift doch? Willst du ihn töten?

(My german's probably not as good as yours)

For those who don't know, gift is german for poison.

How about a really nice pocket watch? You can get a great one at any jewelry store and have it engraved with words of love. That way he can look at it everyday and be reminded of you. Also its a wonderful old fashioned way of telling time. My hubby has a collection of them and has one with him at all times and he loves them!!!!!!!
