    One way is open.

One software is availabel on website to do this.

Password protect folder. Hide and protect your folders, files, drives in Windows XP 2000 98.

Go to on this website www.everstrike.com and download it free for it.

I think I can tell you how to do it in Windows XP if that's what you're talking about. It's been a while since I did it.

You must have an Administrator account, and it must be password protected.

Click Start > Control Panel > User Accounts.

Once there, click "Change an account", then select your account.

There should be an option to make all of your documents private, select it.

Click the OKs or APPLYs (whatever they are - like I said, it's been a while since I did it).

That should take care of it.

If you have a Limited account, you can password protect it, but anyone with an Administrator account can still see your documents and pictures.

In addition to the previouse suggestions

You can use the famouse compressing software (WinRaR), I have been using it for now 7 years, it is powerfull and can compress in most off compression types and can be password protected.

If your files are Microsoft Office files, you can protect them easily by going to Tools > Options > Security in any Office application.

    OR

Use SafeHouse, FolderGuard, etc most of them are cheep and available through download.com.

it depends on what kind of security you want... like me, i use Winzip... i transfer my files/docs to a zipped folder and i add password to it... so they can see the folder, try to click them open but it wont, and it will ask for a password... its what i use for my sexy pics too... haha... password protected...
