go to the microsoft home page, there is a malicious software remover there. (download number 4)

click o.k. when your (properly configured) virus guard automatically detects it & asks for confirmation to delete the file.
or if it's too late for that, run your virus guard to clean up the mess.
and if that doesn't work, yahoo-search the name of the suspect file for a custom solution.

jason, Ad-aware is great but it doesn't rermove virusses.
Always install a firewall (like Sygate), a virus-guard (like Avast), and spyware protection (like Ad-aware). These can all be downloaded for free. And always keep the virus guard and spyware protection up-to-date.

download a programme called ad aware, that will remove most crappy stuff like that, give it a try.
