Click My Q&A. Next to your name and the smile face picture, click add details. click Use my Yahoo! Avatar. Click Edit my Avatar to create it.

click your name - edit my info - edit my avatar ... even though you don't have one yet
to upload a pic you need yahoo 360

click on your name, and click use my own avatar, you can change your nickname too if you want.
