Is drinking a lot of water before bedtime bad for health?

Update:

Oh no... I just drink a lot before sleeping coz' I do a little exercise before I go to bed usually. It's this mental thing I have about - losing the weight before it accumulates in my sleep! =p

Only if you dont wake up to pee. Other than that, no. I try to drink no less than 12 ounces minutes before bed. Ya see when you sleep you respire alot of fluid thru the simple act of breathing.

A plus to this is your pee is not so yellow inthe mornin. Yellow pee is a sign of dehydration.

    Happy drinkin

    1. You will probably suffer from 'reflux' - acid being forced up into the gullet causing ulceration. 2. It could be a signal for diabetes.

It's not bad, but you might have to take the "midnight train to pee-oria" if you get my drift.

Unless you're a really sound sleeper, in which case you might create your own waterbed.

Bad for your sleep. I would hate it if I was dreaming of Jessica Alba and I had to go pee.

It may induce more urine into the bladder which may result in bed-wetting, which i guarantee is very very embarassing.

You'll have to get up in the night to pee, but that's not a big deal.
