If you have sent out that many resumes and have had no interviews, then yes it is your resume. You should have at least 3 to 4 interviews for every 15 to 20 resumes that you send out. A good place to start is understanding what the purpose of a resume is. Knowing that your resume is to get you the interview and not the job is what you need to understand. Working from that perspective, you only highlight the things that are vital that will set you apart from other applicants. Your resume should come across to the employer as providing just enough information to them that they want to talk to you.(That's for the majority of folks.) And the format is important, as well. I feel strongly about hybrids. Hybrids are straight and to the point. They don't make the employer dig for pertinent information. It's right there. Nowadays, people want to know what you bring to the table and how teachable you are. They're aren't too concerned with where or how long you have been somewhere. If you need more info. on how to word your resume, just email me. I'll send you a link.

It's the economy. Seriously, move somewhere where the job situation is better, and network shamelessly. I know it sounds bad, but it WORKS. Try to find companies that are just starting out too. Get a degree or whatnot that actually applies to the job market. I was a liberal arts graduate too, and I'm finding it's much better to have an applicable degree than one from a so-called elite school. If you know friends who want to hook you up, do NOT hesitate to give it a try.

I've found the best way to get jobs are to look for places that are giving them away, or to get them from people you know. Trust me, it won't matter if you're the biggest klutz in the world, you will get the job, and have mega chances at promotion.

It probably is your resume. It doesn't have structure and anything eye catching.

Here is a web site which has samples which can guide you.
