Why do so many women sit onto a toilet without looking?
This has spawned from another question earlier tonight. In response to a question about toilet seats in various positions, many women indicated they sit down without looking and therefore men should put the seat down. Why don't they look? Doesn't that seem like common sense?
Personally, I think the seat AND lid should be put down between uses.

jassiblu- thanks for your response. my wife and i also tend to always put down the seat and lid (if anything, to keep the cat out of it). if only there was a way to make a toilet that did that automatically.... lol

yea i'm a seat and lidder-putter-downer too... glad to know there are more of us out there... back to your Q., ah, i'd say, to me anyways, it always seems to happen either a)in the middle of the night when i'm not even fully awake and choose not to turn on the light (blue eyes tend to see pretty well in the dark, just not THAT well!! lol!) or b)when i am so drunk i can barely walk, let alone pause to check the seats current condition.... either way, both are my fault i agree, and thankfully my hubby and i don't argue about such things!! :) life is too short! i've already been in a bachelor pads and peed, and either put the seat back up when i left or never even touched and done the hover technique...haha! i know you'll sleep better tonight knowing that!! happy peein'!!

I sit on the toilet at home without looking because its my home and i dont need to check if anything is wrong with the toilet seat. I trust my boyfriend to keep it contained in a good manner. When i go anywhere else out of my home i check the toilet seat at all times. My boyfriend does sometimes forget to put the toilet seat down which is quite annoying but hey, everybody makes mistakes!

LOL!! The only time I have done that was when I have gotten up in the middle of the night and I was half asleep. LOL!! I will tell you what, it woke me up in a hurry.
I should tell you something, the people in Peru dont use toilet seats, no joke. Maybe they heard about us Americans arguing about our husbands/boyfriends leaving the seat up so they decided to make their lives easier. LOL!!
They are a good laid back group of people, they don't want any descrepancy. :P :D

Half of us rush to the toilet the last minute, so do u really think there's time to look around and check the seat....

they like to fall in and feel the water splash against their bare buttocks. it is quite refreshing to see when your gf whe she falls in.
