Can I upload DVD movies to an iMac?
Is there a way to upload commerically available DVD movies to my iMac? Whenever I insert a DVD, it automatically plays. Can I place it onto my hard drive? I am not concerned with converting it to a format I can place on an iPod.
2 AnswersOther - Computers1 decade agoWhat to do with the television cubbyhole?
In my new house there is a cubbyhole over the fireplace designed for a television. However, I am not planning on putting a T.V. there and was wondering what should I do with it. I am not crazy about the idea of just putting decorative stuff in it, but I figure just having a contractor cover it would be a waste. Any other ideas?

I am considering selling my desktop but would first like to find out what it is worth. Is there an online resource (like a Kelly blue book for cars) where I can get an idea of its value?

1 AnswerMusic1 decade agoI can't tell if my cats are fighting or playing...?
An older cat (around 4-5 years) and kitten ( <6 months). They don't seem to mind each other and will even lay near each other. However, every now and then one will confront the other usually in a timid fashion, then they start sniffing (just a little), and then the bigger one essentially tackles the small one and they remain locked in what looks like a wrestling hold. They will bite at each other but it doesn't seem to be hard and the larger cat will even lick the kitten. Very little vocalization goes on but every now and then they re-shuffle and will use their hind legs on each other. I don't know if I should break it up or let them go on that way. Please help....

1 AnswerOther - Food & Drink2 decades agoWhy do so many women sit onto a toilet without looking?
This has spawned from another question earlier tonight. In response to a question about toilet seats in various positions, many women indicated they sit down without looking and therefore men should put the seat down. Why don't they look? Doesn't that seem like common sense?
Personally, I think the seat AND lid should be put down between uses.
8 AnswersEtiquette2 decades agoClose minded versus open minded?
I'm curious to find out what people think close minded and open minded mean. These terms are thrown out a lot and usually seem to simply refer to someone who doesn't believe what another person believes (close minded). Are we not all entitled to our own opinions? (this is to assume that opinions may not necessarily be "right" or "wrong")

Does driver's ed no longer teach that the left lane is the fast lane and the right lane is the slow lane? It seems that several people have forgotten this or are they deliberately ignoring it?
