Can someone recommend a good acid jazz band and/or album?

I am trying to learn more about acid jazz after hearing little bits on ski movies, etc. Can anyone recommend a good resource, album, band, etc, to get started with?

    Aram Shelton is big in Chicago.. if you use his name on yahoo you can find his bands and info (cause he has been with a few different bands). He rocks!
