Riddle -- The bridge?
A man was in a prison on the border between North Korea and South Korea. there is a bridge connecting the two countries, with a huge, raging river/ocean under the bridge. It takes a minimum of 20 minutes for any man to get from one side of the bridge to the other side.
The man is in the prison in North Korea. He wants to escape to South Korea, but the only way is through this bridge. However, on the North Korean side of the bridge there stands a guard. This guard is making sure that no one leaves or enters North Korea. However, this guard sleeps for 10 minutes every hour, meaning he is awake 50 minutes, then takes a 10 minute nap.
How can the prisoner escape from South Korea to North Korea?

The man starts walking just as the guard starts to nap, and when he wakes up, he is 1/2 way accross. The guard would tell him to turn arround, so just as the guard comes out, he turns arround, so the guard tells him to go back where he came from, except because he is facing where he came from, he is told to go where he wants to go!

The man crosses the bridge for 10 minutes towards the South Korean border while the guard sleeps. He then turns round and walks back towards the North Korean side. The guard wakes and assumes he is trying to enter North Korea and so sends him to the South Korean side.

in the first 10 minutes the prisoner crosses half the bridge then the guard sees him and ask "where r u going "
he has to answer tat he wants to enter north korea ,so the guard wouldn't allow him to enter north korea thereby he can cross the remaining bridge with the open eyes of the guard..hey ,i need 10 points,so vote now for me

he would go 4 ten minutes when the guard is sleeping and while he wakes the prisoner would turn facing north ,then the guard thinking that he is going 2 escape frm south would make him go 2 south korea

the 1st paragraph says the man is in a prison in north Korea, he does nt need to go from South Korea to North Korea. He only needs to escape from the prison in north Korea.

Just run across the bridge halfway while the guard is asleep. He can make it halfway across in ten minutes. and he would technically still be in North Korea. When the guard goes to sleep again in 50 minutes continue on to South Korean side.

he's already there. the prison is on the border. He can't escape from north korea if he is not in north korea right?
or one side of the jail is north korea, so if he walks to the other side he will be in south korea.

You said that the prisoner was already between the border.
All the guy has to do is to do one step South, and he in South Korea...

If he's in a prison on the border all he has to do is step across into South Korea.

He only needs to make it half way. Once he is in the middle of the bridge he is in South Korea.

If he starts across the bridge when the officer first goes to sleep then he will be half way across when he wake up. He'll get to South Korea ten minutes before the officer and he'll be safe.
