If you witnessed a true miracle would you forever believe or would you eventually fall back to faithlessness?

Watching Ten Commandments (or reading the Bible), God kept providing miracles through Moses, yet the people kept doubting and even wanting to return to Egypt where they were slaves. When Moses went up the mountain to talk with God, they started worshipping idols. Is this the way people are? If so, why does God bother with us? Do you think you would do better?

The problem is that we see TRUE miracles and explain them away to get back to "everyday life" I was saved from being killed from a car accident, but it was explained as doctors and emts saved me. Even now they say that the miracles that the Hebrews saw could of been explained. So yes, we are flawed in that manner that, but God bothers with us because He loves us.

Ten Commandments focused on the Jews. Jews are that way. that is why jesus came as a jew. Jews are blinded. The book Isaiah explains why the Jews are that way. Romans also explains the difference between people by the Jews and the Gentiles. Yes I beleive in miricles but I have seen many things called miricles that are not. 90% coinsidence. 10% higher power. divide that by God and Satan. Sometimes I consider myself like a Jew-always needing proof. My life is not great. I think it should be better because I serve God. But through all that, I get signs that can not be coinsidence. Can little signs be considered a miricle? If so, then I see miricles and should be content with my life. But the Jews are never satisfied. God bothers with us because the day will come that his point will be made. Those that desire God without faith will be given signs.

Would you rather walk around lost in a desert lead by a guy that has no remores for killing you by the thousands, OR do hard work all day but be protected by a strong King?

I am yet to see any miracles. But if I did, I would first look for a good explination. If I still could not explain it then I would consider other explinations. But it would not be jesus.

I have seen miracles wrought in my husband's life this past year. I don't think that it is always a matter of not believing that GOD is able and will do something, many times we are blocked because we cannot comprehend GOD doing anything for us...for example, I can pray in faith for other people and actually KNOW that GOD is going to move for them, but when it comes to miracles for me personally, I have felt like I didn't deserve them...so that is what my take is on it...I believe easily for others, and I know GOD can and does help me...all I can say is that HE loves me, because I sure don't deserve anything that HE does for me, but I am thankful.

I don't need miracles to have faith and believe. Jesus said that he is the way thetruth and the life. Everything else just falls by the wayside although the bible talked about israel falling from GOD. But God never left israel

"Why does God bother with us?"

I think everyone one of Jesus Christ's children have asked this numerous times.

In Christ, we have the power, the Holy Spirit, available to us so that we will not fall.

Jud 1:24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present [you] faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

Phl 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

i would forever believe. but, like u, i have wondered about the same things. but why does God bother with us? because he is my heavenly father, and he loves me, and wants the best for me. my earthly father, loves me and has never given up on me, and believe me i have given him many reasons too. but we all know that God is capable, of more love than we could ever imagine. and do i think i could do better? no! not even close!

If a giant hand reached down from the sky and picked me up, and a deep booming voice said, "DO YOU BELIEVE IN GOD NOW?" I would have to say, "No, I only believe that a giant hand has reached down from the sky and picked me up, and a deep booming voice has said, 'DO YOU BELIEVE IN GOD NOW?'"

Miracles happen every day. One just happened to me today -- I got a letter from my mom.
