"Goth" youths more likely to self-harm?

I think it's dumb, but at the same time I am a self-injuring goth. So I don't know. I was self-injuring before I became a goth, but I don't think my becoming one had anything to do with that at all. It just kind of happened. I didn't know any other goths and I hadn't seen many, I just liked black and it went from there. Goth is more than clothing, anyway. And self-injury is more than making a few little marks on your skin. They don't know anything about what they did the study on.

And to the poster below me: We enjoy ourselves greatly! We just don't enjoy the company of someone like you! But we laugh, and we smile, you just never see it because you're not our friend! And we only do it around gothic friends.

As the article said. people who self harm are more likely to become goths.

They shouldn't stereotype people like that...

People who harm themselves don't necessairely belong to the same group!

Don't ask questions subjectable to offend someone...but i have a family member who is and i think it's true...

i hope goths hurt themselves there always so unhappy, if they kill themselves that's less traffic for me
