Why do parents allow young girls to wear skimpy, revaling, and sexy clothing?

In my opinion girls under 16 years of age, have no buisness wearing sexy clothing, or revealing clothing. Clothes that are meant to show off your body in a sexual way, are going to do just that, and a child has no buisness dressing in that way. You might as well hang a sign on the girl that says : Attention all perverts, rapist, and child molestors, here I am. I'm not saying young girls should have to cover up completely, but lets use some common sense and moderation shall we?

I feel your are right. I don't have any girls, but my girls would not be allowed to dress like that. I feel their parents just don't care, until something happens. Then they want to blame others, instead of saying in the first place "You're not leaving my house looking like that".

Under 16? I'd opt for as long as you live in my house, you will not wear hootchie mama clothes. It draws unwanted attention to the girls. I am a fan of having older brothers escorting their sisters while going out too. There is safety in numbers! There are truly evil people in this world that would love nothing more than to hurt our baby girls. Young ladies, respect yourselves, show less skin, and more clothes. Keep those ODB's away!

God, I so agree. I just want to tear my hair out when I see ANY woman of any age wearing skimpy, tight or revealing clothes. It seriously irrtates me. Because I hate to see women selling themselves not at the beautiful intelligent creatures they are, but instead as sex objects/toys/slaves. It takes away any and all credibility females might have had and it an insult to our gender.

The bottom truth is, those mothers don't care. If they did, they would go shopping with thier daughters to moderate what they pick out, and to teach them what is appropriate, so when they shop alone or with thier friends, they know thier boundaries. Mothers should also implement how wearing clothes can make them look slutty, or very respectable.

Parents that do this are sending the message that their daughters should be objectified. They are teaching their sons that their girls are pieces of meat to gawk at.

It is sad that girls are taught at such a young age in order to get noticed or succeed best start prostituting themselves now. What a wonderful culture we live in.

WELL AS WE ALL CAN SEE THEY SEEK ATTENTION, BUT THEY ARE ASKING IN ALL THE WRONG WAYS. I DON'T THINK AS MUCH AS THEY THINK THAT THEY ARE SEXY THAT THE SELF ESTEEM IS THERE, THE PARENTS HAVE TO BE THE BLAME OF THAT AS WELL THE GIRLS ARE TO YOUNG AND NEED TO BE SUPERVISED WHEN THEY SHOP FOR THERE CLOTHES.

i am an advocate that is strongly against the use of skimpy, revealing and sexy clothing for anyone. i believe that your body is something that is scared and it should be treated as such. with such attire one surley looses the respect that they deserves and also this is a get way for rape, immorality, unprotected sex, disrespect from the other sex. NO one should expose their body in anyway that is sex appealing in my opinion.

I agree. I'm 12 years old, and no matter how much older I think I might be, I'm still a kid.(preteen,whatevs...) I think today's society needs to care more about their children.
