    Alpha & Beta - Greek

hmmm...I've read two views of this. One, Aleph, and Beth are the two first letters of the Hebrew alphabet. Many people believe that the Hebrew alphabet gave birth to the system we have today. The other viewpoint is that the Greek alphabet was the root of the modern alphabet, because of ITS first two letters, which are Alpha, and Beta. I'm looking at an Alphabet table, and there are very interesting similarities amongst the Hebrew, Greek, and the Arabic alphabet. In the Arabic alphabet, many of the letters or sounds that I see are VERY much like the modern alphabet...How's that for an answer?
