How do I get rid of gnats from my sink?

CLEAN OUT THE SINK. THEY ARE IN MINE WHEN THERE IS SPOILED FOOD AROUND. I USE VINEGAR AND BAKING SODA TO FIZZ OUT THE SINK AND DRAIN AND THE GNATS DISAPPEAR.

If you make a paper funnel and put apple cider vinegar in a jar with the funnel over the top the gnats and fruit flys will be attracted to it, fall in the vinegar and drown. Also a cup of water with dish soap works, they can't get out of the soap bubbles.

If you keep getting rid of them only to have them return, check and house plants you may have. Some times they burrow into the soil of house plants and reproduce there. They then reappear when there is something for them to go after... a dirty plate, fresh fruit, etc. I had this happening and used an automatic sprayer for a few days to get rid of them. The sprayers and various cans of pest control as well as fragrances can be found and seed and feed type stores.

Pour a pan of boiling water down the drain.
